After earning her degree, she gained invaluable hands-on experience in the trades, specifically in residential framing and electrical work, which has enriched her design approach and style.

Inspired by the work of Le Corbusier, Kayt prioritizes the human aspect in her designs, creating spaces that are both functional and welcoming.

Outside of her professional endeavors, she enjoys rock climbing, photography, and oil painting, all of which fuel her creativity and inspire her design work.
